Louise Wheeler - Experienced Therapeutic Counsellor

My interest in becoming a counsellor came over 20 years ago, after many months of personal counselling, when numerous life events, bereavement, serious illness amongst those, utterly overwhelmed me and left me struggling to make my way through each day.  During my therapy I gained an immeasurable amount of insight into who and how I am in the world.

TESTAMONIALS

Louise was great!  From our first session when we started to get to know each other, she set expectations, explained the journey and that we would go on and set the tone for our future sessions.  She is very skilled at what she does, supportive and challenging, so that together we started to unravel my feelings, emotions and behaviours.  Bereaved male client 2016

A member of my family recommended Louise to me.  I was suffering badly with anxiety and this was holding me back in many areas of life.  Louise worked with me to understand how I felt, how some of my behaviours were no longer helping me and how to shift these unhelpful behaviours.  Louise never gave me the answers, but helped me work them out.  Through the process my anxiety is totally manageable and appropriate.  J 2020
