What is General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)?
GDPR sets out the main principles of data protection and the responsibilities organisations have when handling personal data. It protects individuals' personal
information and improves their control over how it is collected, stored, shared and used.
GDPR is in place to protect your personal information when it has been legitimately collected. Information such as your home address, medical history, religion
or ethnic background - must be kept securely and not misused or passed it on inappropriately.
I provide my clients with relevant GDPR information within my Client Agreement to keep LW Counselling fully compliant.
